Parent Forum
Building Community Through Spirit and Support
The Parent Forum at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to enriching the educational experience for students, supporting faculty, and fostering a strong sense of community. Over the years, the Forum has played a vital role in raising funds that directly benefit our school, with one of their most impactful efforts being the sale of TJCA spirit wear.
By creating and offering high-quality, stylish, and affordable spirit wear, the Parent Forum has provided a meaningful way for students, families, and staff to show their Gryphon pride. These sales have not only boosted school spirit but have also generated essential funds for a wide range of initiatives, including classroom resources, teacher appreciation events, student activities, and campus improvements.
The recent opening of The Gryphons' Nest school store is not a replacement for the Parent Forum’s fundraising efforts but rather a reflection of the close partnership between the school and the Forum. The Gryphons' Nest is a collaborative initiative, designed to enhance school spirit and serve the TJCA community while complementing the Parent Forum’s ongoing work. At this time, the Parent Forum will continue to sell the spirit wear they currently have in stock using paper order forms, but over the next few months, they will be transitioning to utilizing the online platform provided by The Gryphons' Nest. This shift will streamline the process and make it easier than ever for families to purchase spirit wear while supporting the Forum’s mission.
Through their unwavering dedication and creative fundraising efforts, the Parent Forum has truly exemplified the spirit of partnership and pride that makes TJCA a special place to learn and grow. Their collaboration with The Gryphons' Nest highlights the strength of the relationship between the Forum and the school, ensuring that every purchase continues to make a lasting impact on the TJCA community.
